Knowing God Through the Local Church
My Christian journey and quest to know God has been bountifully enriched through meeting with other Christians who seek the Lord out of a pure heart according to what is revealed in the Bible. I grew up in the Philippines and that's where I first met with the local church. In the church, I found the real life (the eternal life) and real love among the Christian brothers and sisters.
Later, when my family moved to Canada, I continued to meet with the local church. With other young people, I enjoyed the Lord's name by calling on Him, singing, and by coming together in a way where “each one has” something of Christ to speak about. This is how the Body builds itself up in love (Eph. 4:16).
